Transfer Admissions
Students who have spent some time at another university can add significantly to the maturity, diversity, and academic excellence of the student body. LUMS SSE recognizes the enriching effect transfer students can have and is planning to make them an important part of the undergraduate program.

However, transfer admissions will NOT be allowed in the first year (2008-2009) but will be possible from Fall ’09 onwards.

As a consequence, if you entered an undergraduate program in 2007 and have decided to apply to SSE, you should be prepared to forgo up to one year of education. The courses, for which applicants may receive credit, will be determined at the time of enrollment. Faculty members will review each course submitted for credit on an individual basis. It is not possible, therefore, to answer questions regarding the acceptability of courses taken elsewhere. We discourage anyone who has been at university for more than one year to apply for admission.

The same policy applies to students currently enrolled in other schools of LUMS.
